Hello to all,
Unfortunately during my research into Hellenistic armies and logistics Pyrrhus' army has been problematic and there is little information we have on him outside of Plutarch. Particularly I am looking for information on phalanx construction (battle deployment, equipment, commanders etc.) and anything on marching/logistics (camp followers, garrisons during the Pyrrhic wars, march order, etc.) to help out. As an aside, is there any explanation as to why Pyrrhus' campaigns are full of examples of attrition? Could he have avoided this?
