Avete fratres, si valetes bene est, autem valeo..

I'm here just to remind all the groups invited to join or celebration parade in Rome, next 18th april 2003, to forward us the entry form filled up with the information required:

Name of your group/ association/ Legion
Name of representative
List and description of characters or figures portrayed by your group
Estimate of members available and interested in taking part on the 18th April in Rome
Digital photo of your group
Do you have tents, other pieces of equipment or show pieces?
Email address for immediate contact.
Contact telephone or mobile number.
What languages do you speak?
Website address for your group/association
Budget estimate of costs of transportation and bus

We would like to specifically mention that apart from lodgings and accommodation that the Gruppo Storico Romano will provide, we will also pay for costs but solely the travel costs incurred by the group, which will have to be presented officially with receipts and paid slips directly from the travel company, service used.

If I could add anything to those coming from abroad, I would remind all that coach and bus drivers have a limit set by law in regards to the consecutive hours they can drive and resting breaks they must take in between driving. The parade will take place the day after you arrive, so the transport of the group from one location to another, however brief, will still add to the total driving time of the driver from the previous day and thus render him unable to provide this service. We recommend that each group plans for such eventualities and provides with alternative arrangements in case of such events including a second driver.

There are absolutely no forms of payment for participation or organisation of this event, this association undertakes the task of organising as a way of furthering appreciation and awareness for Rome's great history and culture. We are strongly oppressed to and strictly oppose the commercialisation of the history and culture of Rome.

We take this celebration through the streets of Rome as a glorious, proud and emotional moment for all who take part and make sure that those of us who we invite to take part are of the same belief and sentiment.
For any information or correspondence, please use the below contact details.

The selection will be carried on valueting travel and transportation costs provided by each group according to the number of its reenacters.

Food and accommodation for 2 night and 3 days will be provided for those groups that will be selected.

My best wishes and regards to all readers
