All wrong so far, but all three are in the correct country. It's indeed somewhere in Greece.

Aegospotmoi?

Edit: Delete that! It's not in Greece

Naupactos?
Moi Watson

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Merlot in one hand, Cigar in the other; body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO, what a ride!

Ah, hang on - is it Pylos? (if I'm allowed another guess!)

Yup, the isle to the left is Sphacteria, where the Spartans were isolated; to the right is Pylos, where the Athenians built their fortress. There's more here.

Over to you Nathan.

Right! Here's something a bit different, possibly quite easy...

A representation of the ancient division of labour: two women doing all the work while a man lounges around in the sun...

But where would you find this mosaic?

Then it must be Spain; interesting. It's sufficiently nice to make a detour.

Yep. Not, it would seem, a well-known site! But I'm sure somebody must recognise it... :?

I think I do, but I don't have the book with the name of the image. Is it in Seville-ish area?

I have now been googling for at least an hour and a half... I cannot find any mosaicos romanos from España with mujeres and a caballo. I think you must give us another clue!

Not being as classically educated in the Roman period as many of you, I have been pouring over every site of photos I could find for mosaics of this description for three days without any luck. I concour we are stumped and need more clues.
