Hi all

Propugnatores Barcinonenses is a reality, a reality weak but the beginnings are almost always hard. On 2 and 3 June we participated in our first event, Barcino Colonia Romae in Barcelona. The experience was very positive because it showed us we were able to do and the public was satisfied and very active with many questions and making a lot of photos. We set up camp and twice daily explained the evolution of the Roman army between III and V centuries. We also walk away with the other groups. This first time has given us security to face the upcoming events.I hope the group progresses and some day we may participate in the wonderful international events with you all.
I show you some pictures. In our facebook are some more.

Some really nice stuff here Smile

If you can give me your e-mail by private message, I'd like to forward you some information about one (big) late roman event that will take place next year in northern France.
"O niurt Ambrois ri Frangc ocus Brethan Letha."
"By the strenght of Ambrosius, king of the Franks and the Armorican Bretons."

Looking good- great to see a new group, and good luck in the events this summer (and based here in a very wet UK, we are beginning to forget what a summer is....)

Thanks but we envy the climate of your country because a lot of heat is the biggest enemy while wearing armor. Here is better not to do summer activities and most activities are concentrated in the spring.
