The topic's question could be related in the opposite way, too: who wear the celtic decorative items in Roman world

Torcs were common military decorations, and ring mail was an elite Celtic innovation to begin with. Celtic textiles and patterns would probably have been worn by auxiliary soldiers relying on local supplies, as at Corbridge and Vindolanda (and they may have chosen to wear them anyway).

Celtic brooches before the conquest (certainly in Britain) were very basic, but the question of who wore the Celtic-style Dragonesque brooches of later periods is a very good one.

I do not know any grave od an man with evidented torc from the time of the Celts but sure i know many gallo-roman statues&reliefs of mans wearing the torcs. Usually the torc was evidented in the female's graves.
I know, in many books about the Celts write, that the Celts wore the torcs - specially in the late periode but i don't know any evidence of male grave with torc item.

We had ab. one year ago the debate about the checkered clothes and textiles by the Romans. I found later evidence in German Roman's forum i think from 3. cent. that the checkered textiles had female conotation in the eyes of Romans (if the Romans i mean the mans wore the checkered clothes was it in the eyes of the Romans too much feminine).
That's all what i know about the opposite situation in this way.
