from the website of Erik Konig there is a reconstruction of a gallic helmet from kalkriese..somebody have the photo of the original?really in the kalkriese was found a imprial gallic helmet?

Wish I knew the answer to that one Pier, I have wondered myself about it!
I seem to recall it was said to be contemporary wit hthe Kalkriese finds...but look forward to seeing what answers you get.

AFAIK it is the Oberaden helmet with a check piece from Kalkriese.

so only the check piece was found in Kalkriese...and please Christian expleine to me for you this checkpiece were associate at one imperial gallic skull?I have this problem,i would like to know if for a kalkriese legionary impression is possible use gallic helmet(apart the gallic A) and what model?
