in the photos a my reproduction of the portonovo gladius,the scabbard is in bronze silvered and bronze,the blade of the gladius in carboon steel c70 tempered whit 55hrc of heardness.

In fact Robert particolary this gladius is really short in fact the scabbard in the original measure 48,3 cm and if you consider that normally the blade were 50 cm....it is a short gladius.
