Placing the orbiculi on a sagum!

I just received two big orbiculi for my late roman cloak. I would like to know where to place them on a cloak, how near the edges, symmetrically in relation to the edges of the cloak etc.? All help appreciated!

When you sent me the original picture to have the Orbiculi made, I think the one you were aiming for was with the placement set at diagonal corners? Thats what the picture looked like to me... wit can be either diagonally or in parallel on the trailing edge
