\"Why I Reenacted 2,000 Years of History\"
#1
I found an interesting article on the Huffington Post about a re-enactor's experiences. Evidently he has also written a book about it.

There isn't much in the article, but I thought some people might be interested in it or the book. It seems to be more about the lifestyle, from a mildly humorous perspective, and explaining it to those unfamiliar with it.

Quote:I chatted with a barber surgeon, watched a World War II skirmish and even pleaded with some Romans to let me chuck one of their javelins into the Revolutionary War encampment. (They told me to get lost.) But I found it all to be very exciting. As a reenactor, I thought, I could learn about history by living it.
