Took these in 2010 around the baths of Diocletian. Thought some of you may be interested. Not the usual pieces you always see.

Yes, I was looking in vain for that musculata a year or two ago...
Lots of interesting stuff in Rome you rarely see. :grin:

Even more stuff rarely seen is in the museum in Crotone (ancient Kroton). Here is a gold wreath that was unearthed along with a few bits of pottery and clay heads. I love going to these smaller out of the way museums. Usually the write up's are terrible (both in English and Italian)but the pieces themselves are fascinating. If anyone has any requests I can see what I have.
