RAT Conference Regensburg 2013
#91
I, too arrived home, but again with delayed trains. :x

It had been a great weekend for though rather short. Nonetheless it felt like short vacation and I still think of the many interesting things we've seen and the lectures we heard and also the meeting of old friends and making new contacts.

I definitely look forward to the next conference hoping that I will be able to stay longer then.

Thanks to Christian for organizing everything, great job :!: :!: :!:

The conference was great. I just loved to meet people that are as enthusiastic about Roman history as I am. Thank you for letting me present some of my Roman figures. And thank everybody for patiently answering all my questions about Roman reenactment equipment. I made many new friends and will certainly do my best to join the conference next year.

1000 thanks to Christian for organizing the event.

Just returned home safely.

The event was really worth it with numerous highlights.

Many thanks to Christian for organising it and looking after us.

I'd also like to thank Christian for organizing this RATC and the other participants for their interesting discussion (or, in case of Tom, for bring half his Legio along  )! It was great to see some people from past RATCs again and finally meet my sword maker Xorx...

I could only make a few pictures, but I may show them anyway:

I also enjoyed that RATC-weekend very much although I had to leave early on sunday. my way home was the shortest, so I had no problem about that 8)
It was very pleasing to meet some of you in real and to re-visit some places after years ( and Künzing for the first time ever).
thanks to Christian to organize the whole stuff

Here are some pictures of the weeks events.

The first two show the Porta Praetoria at Regensburg. The third picture is in the arena at Kunzing.

Thanks, Graham.

Are we allowed to ask for an ID parade on the arena photo?

And I love the model cavalry (no suprise there then... ;-) )

I tell you what that model legion would make for one epic lego set.

Some more pics.

A few of Tom's Legion. A close up of the sculpture at WALHALLA which we all decided was proof of leather armour and red colouring!
