My gallic and hallstattic tunic
#1
Hy,
when i was in Germany on the IRM event, i got good textiles from Marled. I made me new tunic: for my prima-late latene impression and for a new one. Hallstatt D impression.
The tablet-woven stripes were made by Franzi, brettchenborte.de and the blue woll on the gallic tunic (stiching on the tunic) is from Andrea Wagner.

Here are impressions:

The evidence-origins of them are:
Pattern of the gallic tunic - link here:

The geometric tablet-woven belt&stripes are simmilar to the statue on link here; to the ornaments from slowenian late latene place Ormoz(pottery); pottery in the archaeological museum in Berlin, ornaments on the alesia-fibulas&nauhaimer fibulas - i have them all.

The evidence for the Hallstatt D tunic are the impressions on the situlas /Slovenia-Vace/ and the tablet-woven stripe Hallstatt Nr. II from saltmine Hallstatt.
