Sorry not to have replied to your PM. I have been having major connection problems and cannot always connect to the internet when I want to.

Thanks for your helpful advice. Unfortunately I did not get time to do the edging, due to the time it took to get the right sort of glue. I have taken the shields back in though in order to edge them and then return them at the post production get together in about a month's time. At present I am acting as single parent to my five year old son as well, meaning that all such activities are on hold until the end of the school holiday. After that I will be getting on with this and a number of other projects.

Hang in there, Crispvs. Single parenting is not such a thrilling, fun experience as they make it seem in the movies. Did it for 5 years with 5 kids. Stress is not a big enough word for that situation, but with the right attitude (on those days you can manage it) it can be a very rewarding time, and you can build good memories that will last in the children. They'll remind you of them some day in a decade or so, for better or worse.

I wasn't pressuring, just hoping to have helped with your efforts. I'm a theatre guy, too, so I know how many thousands of things come up right at the end, even if the production is repeated from the year before, somehow, all the problems are new, and many require instant fixes. Strange, isn't it?

From what I saw in photos and video, it is a very ambitious and well-handled production. A tip of the petasos to you all.
