I will be visiting eastern Turkey next month. There is an opportunity to visit Malazgirt, where the famous battle of Manzikert was fought. However, I have no idea about the precise location. Does anyone know?

If you wrote to the Manzikert Logistics Project they could probably give you exact latitude and longitude of the most likely areas.
