Battlefield near Königshofen near Strassbourg
#1
I'm looking for information about a assemblage of finds from the battlefield near Königshofen near Strassbourg, especially the publication by R. Forrer in the Zeitschrift für historische waffen- und Kostümkunde vol. IX.2 (1921), pp. 39-43.

I only have Forrer, Ein römisches Schlachtfeld bei Strassburg-Königshofen, Cahiers Alsaciens d'Archéologie d'Art et d'Histoire 1920, 1158-74,which I have emailed to you. It has a drawing of the plumbata which I assume you are after.

...oops I forgot to post my impressions from the "Argentorate"-book of the Straßbourg museum here alsoSadhttp://www.romanarmytalk.com/rat.html?fu...&id=287397) Today, Königshoffen seemed to be viewed as cemetery-site rather than as a battlefield-site. A lot of finds are, of course, related to LEGVIII, the Strassbourg "household" legion.
