Here's the entire route of the National Trail in Google Maps (mapped by me and not derived from more-or-less-dodgy GPS uploads ;-) ). It can also be downloaded to view in Google Earth from there.

Here's a free hint too: if you have to do it, do it west to east. Weather at your back and you finish with a decent site, rather than a garden hut.
