The last time the Canadian Space Agency advertised for astronauts was in 2008 or so; I remember that someone from my university did well in the competition. When I look at the past 50 years, one of the things that disappoints me is that the rich world didn't push for cheap access to space.

I'd keep that to yourself if I were you Gunthamund - if archaeologists hear of it there'll be a stampede down at NASA!

Joking aside, I know of very few archaeologists these days who have found archaeological work after all the recent redundancies. I think we can expect very little in the future by way of new artefacts coming to light, maybe some Martian pottery or sword buckles will tide us over though.

You major now days in the Social Sciences, it is because you are a graduate of our public school system. You can't read or write, but scream "racist " at anyone who diagrees with the school system's social brainwashing agenda. As far as I know ther are no US citizens left except in a few gated enclaves in New Mexico, and Texas. SoCal is not part of the US as far as I can tell. I think NASA has to learn Spanish soon or they cannot ever order a cheesburger from the drive up window. (Which happend to me several times already.) No one speaks English anymore much in the southwest.

Also, you are not usually allowed to ask the citizenship status on job applications, making an arrest, or obtaining social services, or risk a law suit. For all intent and purpose anybody from anywhere can get a job here as long as your papers came out of a cerial box, or you have a relative holding a government position, or more likely, both.

The state of New Mexico will issue driver's licences to anyone. ANYONE. Just ask for one at MVD. Use the driver's licence to apply for anything else. All you got to do is stand in line for 15 minutes aaat MVD express. You can vote if your dead, and vote with as many driver's licences that you can get your hands on. THe last check of the voter roles found 140+ people living in the same vacant lot. No worries. Give them a homade ID in any language other than English and claim you do not speak English. You get your licence. Then go to the next MVD office and do the same thing until you have all the driver's licences you want. All you have to do is get here, or ask someone who looks like you to do it for you.

...and I am not kidding about this. The current governor trid to stop the DL abuse but was voted down by the legislature. This is the saame legislature that dead people vote for 10 to 1. THe Last county clerk is facing felony charges, but the poeple who have up to six driver's licences are not.
