Harpies 28mm
#1
I've recently undertaken the task of sculpting three of my own Greek harpies to harass my 28mm Greek army on the field. I have a design but I was wondering if there is any actual, historical colour scheme I could follow when I paint them. My design consists of a woman's torso and face with arms and legs, her hands have bird-like talons as well as her feet. The wings on her back emulate those of an eagle as well. Any suggestions on her clothing, design, or colouring would be much appreciated. I want to make them look as legit as possible.

Thank you.

Of course I've never seen one in the real world, but it seems a likely as anything that no clothing at all would be found on a Harpy. Maybe a belt with a dagger or similar knife. And they should not look beautiful in the face. They were very bad girls, you know?
