Bury\'s History of the Later Roman Empire
#1
If you combine a passion for Late Roman history and modern gadgets, you will perhaps like it that Bury's History of the Later Roman Empire can be bought for your Kindle for the ridiculously low prize of $11,49. I promise you: hours of pleasant reading.

Thanks Jonathan- downloaded as I travel on the train. Astonishing...

If it's half as good as Nicasie Twilight of the Roman Empire ( which is the best book on the Late Roman army I have yet read) , then I am in for a treat!

Hi,

Well, the book is already in public domain and freely available on Lacus Curtius website, whereas it seems that it is also already freely available in various e-book formats here and here. So I would try the mentioned websites first before spending your money on Amazon.

Greetings
Alexandr
