Al Hamdd Helmets
#1
Does anyone have any opinions on Al Hamdd helmet's like the Koblenz Ridge copy? I'd like to add a late Roman helm to my collection.

Well, it's better as most late Roman Deepeeka helmets, but one can still see it's made in India. Of course for the item you get the price is quite okay, although I highly prefer the work of Robert Pustelak myself, although that is a bit more expensive of course.

I think the biggest problem with Al Hammd's Koblenz helmet is the badly shaped nose guard, it is like a giant parrot's beak! If you replace that it is a quite nice and a reasonable priced helmet, methinks...

Agreed that the Pustulak helmets are better, but your budget has to be a LOT bigger....

Picture of the original Miks drawing above so that you can make your own comparison.

And Adrian has one left in stock- heres a link to his Late Roman helmets.

As you can see I'm very emotional about my blue gray skin. I really thought the tatts would help but alas they didn't. Now I'm really upset. Oh well I think it's time to slay someone.
