Haven't read this book in years but picked it off the shelves a few days ago . Maps and battle descriptions seem to describe the battles fairly well. What do you learned folks think of this dated (1926)but interesting book ?

I haven't read it, but i've heard about it. I think there might be a problem with interpretation of Livy, since the main source for the Hannibalic war is him. Recently, considering the date of the book, there has been a lot of historical commentaries about Livy due to the Vienna texts. I think Loeb Classical Library issued a new series for Livy, including these.
