Cichorius plates
#1
I ordered this way back in Feb from Amazon and am still waiting. I think the concensus back when was it was worth it, but maybe this waiting makes me wonder. Has anyone seen this new version? Any comments?
It's sitting on my shelves here. But it's not really new as in 'printed 2004'. The Cichorius plates were published somewhere at the end of the 19th century. Lepper & Frere republished them in 1988. Quite possibly a case of Amazon-optimism :-D. Have you tried Addall or Abebooks?
Greets
As Jasper says, it is quite literally a re-printing of the original Cichorius plates from the 1890s. It has the added value of an English-language commentary, plus notes on various related aspects.
Indispensable for TC research; less so, for general interest.
(The sub-title is "A New Edition of the Cichorius Plates", although, as Jasper points out, it appeared in 1988.)
