Too short! my only complaint, and maybe that Decius is growing up. Not to give any of the plot away, but the interaction with Cato is a fun twist, esp after reading Everitt's "Cicero". <p>Legio XX<br>

Of course, modesty forbids that I recommend this immortal masterpiece to my fellow forumites, much less note that it is available in fine bookstores everywhere, for the low, low price of $23.95 US, a mere pittance for such high-quality entertainment.Yes, Decius must age and mature along with the rest of us, but he never loses his taste for wine, women, bloody entertainment and low company, surely a role model for us all. <p></p><i></i>
