1700+ Ancient Sites on Google Earth
#1
I updated my file with Google Earth / Google Maps markers. Right now, it contains about 1700 markers, including the whole limes from Scotland to Vienna. You can find it here.

Additions are, of course, most welcome; there must be more from France, the Iberian Peninsula, and the Balkans.

I'd like to add a somewhat large Roman road we have on a natural park.

It's Road XVIII, we can walk a big lenght almost 30km remain, and there are 35 Milestone markers all around the lenght of the road (some that was used in medieval times, and some lenght that is still used today.)

Building started around 137 AC and the whole lenght went from Bracara Augusta (Braga) to Asturga Agusta (Astorga) in Spain.

Some mile markers:

Taking this left hand dirt road you get to the "Geira Romana". It's very well signaled.

Jona this is excellent stuff. I have long thought that it would be beneficial to do this exact sort of thing. It would be very helpful for researchers and people just interested.
