My greaves are done!

Here are the first pictures of the photo essay. The pics are pretty self-explanitory, but ask away if you have questions. The greaves are made of 20 GA. (0.032", 0.76mm) commercial bronze. The rims are rolled with 3mm true bronze wire inside. The insides are lined with vegetable-tanned goatskin.

WOW. Geez, I'm envious of the *shop*, let alone the greaves!! Fabulous work, you are a very lucky hoplite. (Helps being a goddess, I suspect, ha!)

Well, I'm just going to chop my old greaves up for keychain fobs! Sob, whimper...
