The Hooks are not coming with the hamata, where is a good place to get a replacement set with all the hardware, Thanks Antoninus

I think any issues may be with the rings themselves...but really, no one except stitch counters are going to hold a magnifying glass up to you and tell you it's wrong. If they do, just tell them off. It's the Roman thing to do anyway, and no reenactor is perfect, so few should be throwing stones.

For a good set of hooks and the bits that go with it, Matt Lukes or Soul of the Warrior.

I have the hamata with 6mm rings from Find It and here is what I did:

1. I replaced the hamata hooks with those from Raymond's Quiet Press:

Raymond's roman stuff

The hooks that came with the shirt were about an inch too long. They should form a U shape when hooked-in.

2. I removed the leather from around the neck opening to make it somewhat easier to get on.
