Centurion
#1
I watched "Centurion" yesterday. I thought it was an interesting take on what could have possibly happened the the lost 9th legion. I thought it was very exciting. I'm not sure about the accurateness of the uniforms and such. I recently read "The Eagle of the 9th" by Rosemary Sutcliff, and I realized while watching "Centurion" that there are many theories about what could have happened to the 9th. Overall, this is one of my new favorite movies.

I would be curious to know some of the other theories. Anyone?

If you're interested in the facts, you could have a look at Ancient Warfare magazine IV.5 (scroll down), and add to Jasper's sales figures!

Lisa.
I think as Robert has mentioned it's a subject that has been well discussed already, however you go right on believing what you would like on this interesting subject for it appears everyone else has made up their own minds anyway even some Archaeologists.
