Fifth Century A.D. Western Roman Empire Timeline
#16
Ave! Big Grin I'm reclaiming & resuming work on my 5th century Western Roman Empire timeline. Big Grin

I'll probably have some (or more) free time for years.

That could be a great thing, especially for eternal matters. Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

It's delighful that you are reclaiming it but the circumstances sound somewhat ambiguous - so I hope it's what you want.

...and don't forget..."Roman Rule Ends in Britain"
Moi Watson

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Merlot in one hand, Cigar in the other; body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO, what a ride!

Cool, I can help you update it as well; many of your facts need correcting. I attempted this a while ago on TWC.

Thank you, I look forward to our collaboration.

Do you have a link for your TWC work(s)?

I'd like to download & start merging.

Did you include source citations?

I'll start adding citations at the end of each timeline entry.

Since the timeline facts are based on diverse sources of varying quality, I'll also go back to the sources to further cross-check & reconcile.

Yeah, hold on I'll get you the link.

For example though, Pannonia Prima was never ceded to the Huns; they had been encroaching on Pannonia for some time but the only provinces Ceded were Secunda and Savia, after 433.
