This is the latest improved version of “3-th century Roman eagle” http://www.christies.com/lotfinder/LotDe...ID=3993900
Аrtifact published in Christie’s auction: Bronze eagle roundel, the baldric attachment with a central stylized eagle surrounded by an annular openwork inscription reading "OPTIME MAXIME CON[SERVA]", 3rd Century A.D. with published sizes
2¼ in. (5.7 cm.)
I think that the result is entirely satisfactory.

Once I followed the recommendations of a friend of mine I decided to recreate for the needs of the Roman cingulum equipment this model of pugio frog from a military belt from Windisch (VINDONISSA), Switzerland. First half of the 1st century AD.Dimensions are width 46 mm.I think that I've achieved a good result!

These are three Roman Ring-keys. Particularly suitable for SIGNIFER because he was treasurer of the centuria or cohort.

This is related to part of our club equipment designed for our "Senior officers equipment" project.Thais is some improvement efforts on the base model of Praetorian helmet from Deepeeka, but with some improvement efforts ower the base model.

Improvements that make my brother Jordan Kolchev reflects positively on the general appearance of the base Praetorian helmet.

I think we have reached a similarity with the original and authenticity of the product.

Hi Rado,

Praise for the hard work; as always you two have a keen eye for details and quality. A word of advise you may wish to ignore; loose the horsehair crest in favor of a more authentic feathered one. Probably ostrich in this particular example.

Thank you for your advice and your constructive suggestions Paul!At this stage we will not have the opportunity to do changed because we made urgently our club equipment designed for our ”Senior officers equipment” project so we can use it in our nearly participation in Tomis Ancient Festival 16- 18 august 2013- Constanca Romania. Musculata armor and the Praetorian helmet are from Deepeeka but ..with some improvement efforts over the base models Wink.
Of course we cannot compare our Senior officers equipment with that of the leading Western European clubs (from which we learn) !But I think that with our Eastern European finance capabilities, we have achieved a..decent reenacting level.

Once I brought the 3rd Century Baldric in to very good quality I decided to provide it for mass production to Deepeeka Armouries.
Аrtifact published in Christie’s auction 3rd Century A.D. together with my long and difficult project “3 th century Baldric from Zugmantel Germany” Saalburg museum .I think that the result is entirely satisfactory. Until now I have not seen quality restored beltues from Zugmantel.Me and my brother Jordan after a long work achieved this result.
Mr.Gagan аnnounced for their new products, designed by me and my brother .
I give my creative “3 th century Baldric from Zugmantel Germany” models with the rights to be manufactured and distributed by Deepeeka due several reasons:
This is not a commercial deal for me. I would like to raise the level of common Roman re-enacting (regarding the 3 th century Baldric ). I hope more reenactors colleagues will be able to carry quality belt and enjoy their hobby. I am convinced that Deepeeka will be able to offer to all friends of Roman equipment a product with good quality- at a good price.
