General Q\'s about Skythian kit

I'm trying to complete the necessary info for my mom's c. Marathon Skythian costume. The jacket and trousers are easy enough to figure out, but when I can find anything that appears to be an original belt buckle I can't make heads or tails of how it would be buckled, let alone where to find one.

The other question I have is whether there is any more subtle form of headwear than the tiara... I can't convince her to wear what she describes as a "giant cupcake" on her head.

Hello again.

If nobody here at this time does Skythian reenactment, does anyone know of someone who does? I've written to 4hoplites.com some time ago and am just now writing to The Hoplite Association, but I'm still open to any advice.
