Is it right that famous Gllo-Roman aristocrate, Tonantius Ferreolus, was an ancestor of Carolingian family? and what were the origins of Tonantius hinself?

It's likely. Charlemagne was the great-great-great-grandson of St. Arnoul, Bishop of Metz. Historians aren't 100% certain about Arnoul's father and grandfather. If his dad was Arnoald, below, and Ansbertus really existed, then this is one lineage in which Charlemagne's ancestry can be traced back to Rome:
