Museum of London: Roman Wicker basket

Came across this Roman wicker basket find at the Museum of London- a fair number of other interesting Roman and Saxon finds not on display

Is the carrying strap wrapped around it? How big was it?

Do you happen to have the measurements for this basket, along with period used. This is a very interesting items and I think could be a useful items to have for an impresssion and use.

It look in its present condition the basket is 10-12 cm wide and I would estimate 20-25 cm tall. I would have to assume if reconstructed one would have to take in to consideration 2000 years of water and shrinkage...

I sent this to a master basket weaver here in the US and she may take this in as a project.
