Proper response to stoning adultresses
#1
In my view the proper response (aside from the usual ineffective sanctions) for Governments who have woman stoned to death for adultery (or anything else for that matter) should be
to have heavy bombers drop thousands self inflating blow up dolls (adult bookstore type) labeled "stone this you murderers" in the local language. When the inevitable UN protests arise we should offer to drop bombs the next time!

Every time a woman from the Mid-East goes to a western college, the days of this kind of behavior become less and less likely. The clock is ticking on things like stoning people to death. Offer women scholarships. They are more effective than anything else.

Having spent a bit of time in the region, I might suggest that inflatable goats would be more appropriate. They treat them with far more respect. :wink:

How about stoning the man involved instead? Might do a bit more for women's rights...

Then again, although stoning is extreme and prehistoric, at least there is a punishment for adultery which Western culture seems to condone and even celebrate. Several British, American, French and Italian politicians leap to mind.

What we punish them by electing them to office? Sounds about right.

Hmm.. long shot. Try to convert the Christians first. I mean, the Anglicans did that, but Rome is still dragging it's feet.

They don't need that, they have flocks of sheep and camels to satisfy that need.

Not to mention that all those satellite dishes I saw in Riyadh probably weren't used to watch ESPN.

Adultery=Stoning?

For the U.S. it went the other way around in the 60's! :lol: We as a country have moved past that (mostly :wink: ). Sounds like they need some Hendrix and Dylan to lighten up over there.

They could jump forward a couple of centuries in their methods and install a "Scarlett Letter" on the woman's cover-alls at least. The men should be punished as well... no one likes a hypocrite. :roll:
