29th/30th August BH - Sewerby Hall, Bridlington
#1
The legio Praesidiensis makes it's way home to Sewerby Hall overlooking Bridlington harbour. Comitatus will be using cavalry, infantry and artillery by the seaside for our biggest show of the year. The event runs from 10 am to 4 pm with shows at 11 am, 12 noon, 2 and 3 pm.

This really is an excellent location. Lovely grounds surround the Hall, including lots of exotic animals. There are monkeys, lamas, wallabies, penguins etc. The Hall itself holds an excellent museum, and a famous Anglian cemetery lies just over the wall from the campsite. Archaeology literally falls out of the cliff.

Photos from last years event can be viewed at http://www.comitatus.net/gallerysewerby9.html

Many thanks for putting up with me John, I had a memorable weekend, and despite the grim weather for the first day as Jurjen mentioned, it will be in my mind for a long time.
Comitatus will always be in my heart, and a little piece of me now will always remain in yorkshire.
