You can make all of it you want! You can probably rationalize most of it too...but there always is that pesky accuracy thing. :wink: If one of those shields were found in a dig it would be my personal choice. Art though is more loose in it's methods so can't fully be trusted. At lest that's what I have learned on RAT since joining. Sad

After reading the replies with regards the shields, I am DEFINITELY sticking with copying the figures on that Augustan carving! Big Grin . Or can anyone direct me to info on Hadrianic Naval Trierarch?
