Sorry about the late post here, I'm scrambling to get caught up between work and our giant Rev War event at Fort George, now safely put to bed.

The Plataeans will be hosting a Greek Hoplite event in Owen Sound over Labour Day weekend. It will be a four day extravaganza including, fighting eating, symposia, festivals, games, and so forth on 30 acres of forest with 1500' of frontage on Georgian Bay.

Bloody hell don't tempt me. I'm reading a certain new novel and my head is full of the storm of bronze. I've just dropped a pilos on my foot and Greece is running through my veins.

But I haven't flown since 1982 and I'm packing for a Comitatus weekend. After that I seem to be riding at Bosworth in 1485 (hmmmmm.... stirrups) and then we have a big August BH event. I think I am back at what passes as work in September.

And boeotian is slightly the wrong shape.
