The Crisis of Rome: The Jugurthine Wars and the Rise of Mari
#1
The Jugurthine Wars and the Rise of Marius
Author: Gareth C. Sampson

Covers the situation Rome was dealing with, and the different personalities in the last Decade of the 2nd Cent BC,
giving some , perhaps new perspectives on the rise of Marius.

Has anyone started on this book? Quite good I would say.....
Visne partem mei capere? Comminus agamus! * Me semper rogo, Quid faceret Iulius Caesar? * Confidence is a good thing! Overconfidence is too much of a good thing.
