The current issue (i.e. 4/2010) of Archäologie in Deutschland has the Batavians as title stories. It has four articles about the Batavians as well as two other articles dealing with Roman themes. So this is really worth a buy:

Oh by the way, do you guys know off hand how long that issue will be on the store shelves? I won't be in Germany until 23 September...

I think you can always try to buy a back-issue directly from the website quoted by Svenja.

I've got my copy last week. Was an interesting read, especially the article on local religion Big Grin

This one temple mentioned in this article was the one you guys visited when we had the conference in Nijmegen, right? I missed this visit because I missed one train and hence arrived too late. :-( (
