Andrey from Anabasis pointed out this interesting site . It is MV Skrzhjinskaya's - "Days and Holidays in Olbia VI-I C BC". [url:2ggi2zpk]http://www.sno.pro1.ru/lib/skrzhinskaya/index.htm[/url] Olbia was one of the largest Crimean Greek cities. She describes their costumes, cooking, , how they spent their time, calendar, education and other interesting things. As I don't read Russian I had to use the Goggle translator but I was pleasantly surprised at its effectiveness. Re-enactment of the Bosporan Greek city states is ideal for colder climates but also a pleasant change from our usual fare. Does anyone have any other online publications to recommend?
