Later Roman Century achieved at Old Sarum
#1
After 1600 years, finally a later Roman century (actually 88 combatants and guest cavalry from EH)
Britannia and a host of excellent guest groups from Britain, Germany, France & some guys from Sweden.

Excellent event and client was thrilled!

Lovely atmosphere - Re-enactment camp was buzzing in the evenings!!!! Big Grin

Contubernium (Germany)
Letavia (France)
Turingen (I hope that's spelt right)
Troop (EH)

I think others, but you'd need to check with Matt and Dan.

The standard of kit amongst our guests was excellent!!!!

Here you can see some of the lads from German group Contubernium advancing

This egg tempera wood panel 370mm x 210mm (painted by myself) was presented to Letavia and also passed onto Foederati (who couldn't make it to the event this year) as a 'Thank you' for attending last year's show!! Big Grin D
