Lazenby books
#1
I recently came across J.F. Lazenby's two books on the Punic Wars. Are they good books? How are they from a military standpoint?
Salve,
Both The first Punic war and Hannibal's war are good books. They are annotated, which makes it easier to check any statements, and in my opinion these are to be preferred over Bagnall's The Punic wars or Peddie's Hannibal's war.
