Identify this sculpture
#1
I was browsing though my slide collection and came across this image (photographed in a German museum):

I assume that it is an altar to Hercules. Can anyone identify it, please?

Which museum was it in Duncan ? It seems to me it is Hercules, the figure on the altar seems to be holding a club.

I'm afraid that I don't recall. That's why I need your help! Smile (Possibly the Römisch-Germanisches Museum in Köln, or the RGZM in Mainz. It was a loooong time ago.)

I remember seeing a simmilar Hercules in Strassbourg (a bit German it is  )

But as I have lent the book...I can't check it. :|
