Roman Comic (with action figures)
#1
Here is a comic some guy has made (not finished yet). It is supposed to play in Nero's era . You will recognise some familiar faces. Tongue

I can't say I recognise any faces, although I notice that my own unit is well represented. However, Dunedin is where I went to university!

Ah, I see where all the Ignite Roman figures went!!!

Some pretty good sets and photography, it must have taken ages.

Characters based on Daniel Craig = the hero, Anthony Hopkins = Paulinus and Christian Bale = A Tribune.

Graham.
"Is all that we see or seem but a dream within a dream" Edgar Allan Poe.

"Every brush-stroke is torn from my body" The Rebel, Tony Hancock.

"..I sweated in that damn dirty armor....TWENTY YEARS!', Charlton Heston, The Warlord.

Wow, looks like fun to create!

Too bad they made some mistakes (Roman phalanx, the winged/horned/medieval barbarian helmets)..

They must have spent a fortune on 12" Action Figures -- even if they received a discount for volume purchases...

This reminds me of the Twisted Mego Theatre from Toy Fare Magazine, but missing their very twisted sense of humor.

Even so, putting this Comic Book together clearly took a lot of work.

Yeah! I thought the lead character looked like Daniel Craig. Big Grin Come to think of it, Craig would be awesome in a Roman or Greek movie. Craig could even be a great Caesar. Bale, too, has that aristocratic look to him, and would make a great Roman.

Memento Mori is a splendid piece of work. I agree, someone put alot of work into creating the sets and costumes for the action figures. I also recognized Steven Siegal and Mel Gibson. Brilliant idea and so much potential!
