Polybius On-line
#1
Great news for all Roman-interested readers. Polybius has finally, finally made it on-line, thanks to Bill Thayer at Lacus Curtius.
This is from the 1922-27 Loeb edition. Unfortunately not always very well-translated (Walbank's commentaries are extremely useful), but given that this is the only full translation of the text that anyone can expect to get hold of today (and even then, you're only likely to be able to get it through your state library after a long and tortuous process), we should be immensely thankful.
Strategy
