If your picture is from Arbeia I would certainly think so Byron and my copy of the Dubitatus shield boss is in the Roman Army Museum at Magna on Hadrians' Wall.

Hello,
Thanks for the answers. In other way, I haven't seen any pictures of the original Koblenz-Bubenheim helmet that names the helmet. Anybody have pictures or a link to see them? Thanks!!! I have read the entry in the database, and is suggesting that the frontal part of the helmet lacks decoration. Could that means that is hair or fur covered?
