Roman fort at Zwammerdam in 3D
#1
I'm new to this forum, which Jim Bowers told me about. He saw some of my 3D computer artwork, and advised me to show it here. And why not, I'm not unwilling to obtain commissions... as I'm working as a professional illustrator.
Anyway, I'm not very good at 3D modeling, and can only work in XFrog, which is essentially for trees. But it was good enough to create this fortress Nigrum Pullum at Zwammerdam, Netherlands, from the same angle of view as an earlier painting I did. It is rendered in Terragen, but it's unfinished work (pre-commissoned to myself, so it'll have to pay itself back), and in due time should have a bathhouse as well, and perhaps some ships. Enjoy.
