Unfortunately I couldn't manage it to turn up the volume so I couldn't understand the narrator. But viewing the thing wasn't actually that bad considering the age this was filmed. According to the knowledge about the gladiator types back than the kit looked pretty good.

On the other hand it reminded me of the training video my thraex and hoplomachus made when they trained in the backyard of the hoplomachus, and they just did it for training purposes to analyze their doing.

I think they are excellent! That has to be the earliest reenactment footage of gladiators, i guess. Only the narrator is making a parody out of it (and he is awesome ).
