Does somebody knows any recent researches (books, articles) about arbitrage and mediation interstate relation in hellenistic world?

Arthur M. Eckstein’s Mediterranean Anarchy, Interstate War and the Rise of Rome (2006) discuses it. Although not specifically about what you are requesting, I thought his work was quite interesting as an alternative view of ancient foreign relations.

In his treatment of mediation he cites these works:

In the latest "Cambridge History of Ancient Warfare, Vol I" there's a very good article on the very subject. Also, Hans Van Wees (Greek Warfare, Myths and Realities, 2004) has several hundred pages on it. For my money, he's one of the best writing today.
