Incredible forging video

And this guys are still young. It looks like in some years, they might become amazing smiths... Confusedhock:

So, what do the experts in the forum think?

Well, I'm not an expert, but I think he's already an amazing smith! If he were to stick with historical pieces, WOW. But there's a lot more money in making fantasy stuff. I'm jealous of his SHOP! Not just a gas forge but that fabulous squisher-hammer-thingy--never seen anything like that! Talented young man.

Thanks for posting that!

Matthew

Indeed a very interesting video. Full of craftsmanship. Would be great if I ever can try to do such a job.

I'm speechless... Confusedhock:

This guy is so good than even the video itself is a piece of art!

Forging swords isn't as difficult as most might think- it looks mystical, but is just a matter of holding the metal at the right angle and directing the blows at a specific spot- plus grinding does a great deal of 'fixing' LOL Not to downplay the artistry of course Wink

Wow! Thanks for posting these

Both videos are a lot of fun to watch, and great the 2nd video had "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" for a soundtrack, too Big Grin

I'm really glad to see young people get hooked into doing this stuff, and what a talent, too!
