Military belt / Cingulum donations HELP needed

Hi folks!
I am somewhat lost since I lost one of my little cards with references on them...
There is a text passage telling us that - IIRC - during the 1st year of 4 Emperors / Battle of Cremona either Veterans or Soldiers donated their cingula for their leader being able to buy new ships (or so).
Does anyone accidenatlly have a quote / note for me. Very much appreciated. Don´t want to read through sources again for days...

Refering to the Vitellian troops while still in Germany (Colonia Agrippinensis).
